Located west of Bellefontaine, Ohio in Logan County the home of castles, chocolate, and Blue Jacket artisan cheese, Blue Jacket Dairy, was named after nearby Blue Jacket Creek. west of Bellefontaine, Ohio.

Blue Jacket Dairy is Ohio’s leading producer of fresh artisan cheese including fresh cheddar curds, quark, chevre, mozzarella, and Gretna Grilling, an halloumi-style cheese. In addition, they make feta and two aged cheeses, one from cow’s milk and the other from goat’s milk.

Coming in the fall: Buckeye Blue *TM and Buckeye Brie *TM.

Blue Jacket Dairy is a family-run business and the whole family is involved in the operation. Jim is a fourth-generation dairy farmer.

Cheese makers Jim and Angel King are the founders of the Ohio Cheese Society and members of the Ohio Farm Bureau, the American Cheese Society, Local Matters, Local Harvest, Slow Food and the Ohio Ecological Food & Farm Association.
