They have excellent cider and apples and a great variety of other things - jams, pumpkins and Indian corn, etc.

This orchard has many different types of apples including 7 different varieties that have been developed by them. Peaches, Plums, Pears, Cherries, Strawberries, Blackberries, Mellons, Zuccini, Sweet Corn, Winter Squash, Vinegar, Applebutter, Tomatoes, Greenbeans, Yellowbeans, Nectarines, Bedding Plants,


Downing Fruit Farm has been in business 170 years. Their apples, cider, and homemade apple butter are all produced on their farm using homegrown products. The Downings have even developed numerous apple varieties and in 2000 they were voted Best Cider in the United States.

Visit their store at the orchard  or find them at area farmers markets:

Miamisburg, Wednesdays 1-6pm (May-Oct.)
Centerville, Thursdays 1-6pm (May-Oct.)
Oxford, Miamisburg and Shiloh Farmers Markets.

Love their apples and cider! Make sure you have this address in your GPS, it is in the middle of no where!
